The Etnies brand was founded in 1986 in France on the initiative of Pierre Andre Senizergues. Over the years they have supported pro riders such as Andrew Reynolds, Mikey Taylor, Ali Bulala, Sean Matlo. Today, Etnies can pride itself on riders such as Ryan Sheckler, Tyler Bledsoe, Willow, Devine Calloway. Etnies is also committed to environmental protection. Their project "Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree", launched in 2011, resulted in the planting of almost 170,000 trees in Corsica and Brazil.
