Filters ()Beginning in the mid-1980s, the Stephen brothers, Peter and Matt, formed their own company to design, manufacture and distribute for third party brands in Australia in partnership with Hardcore Enterprises, Melbourne's Hill. In the mid-1990s, they started their own boarding business, first producing shoes for skateboarders and surfers, then clothing and durable goods for the wider market. Today, the same team of skateboarders, surfers and snowboarders that founded the Globe brand has grown into an international network of designers and riders who are linked by skateboarding sports, street culture, media, design and film. With design centres and concept stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Los Angeles and Hossegor, the Globe is now sold by select retailers in more than 100 countries worldwide.
